Title:  Battle of Tudela, Spain, sometime in November 1808.

Setting:  A quasi-fictional battle between the invading French and their Polish allies under Marshall Lannes against the defending Spanish under General Castaños.

Rules:  Carnage and Glory - Napoleonic

Notes:  This is our annual “MLK Weekend” game. 

Food will be provided by the Jackson Gamers, featuring homemade “white” chili.  Please let Jim know by Thursday if you are coming so we can have enough provender.

Rules: Brigade Fire & Fury - only slightly modified

Notes: A scenario based upon the first day of battle with Gen. Bragg’s Army of the Tennessee attacking MG William Rosecrans’ Army of the Cumberland at Chickamauga Creek. Can the Confederates crack the center of the Union line?

Title:  The Empire Tries to Strike Back!

Setting:  In September 2022, instead of being caught flatfooted and routed, the Russian 1st Guards Tank Army manages to regroup and counterattack the Ukrainian 92nd Mechanized Brigade west of Kupiansk.

Rules:  A Fist Full of TOWs, 3rd edition.

Notes:  Lunch will be sandwiches so please RSVP if you have not already so we'll have enough.

Setting:  The 1st Brigade (2-41 Infantry and 1-67 Armor), 2nd Armored Division, with 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment attached, race to intercept the exploiting elements of the Soviet 20th Guards Motorized Rifle Division.

Rules:  A Fist Full of TOWs 3^rd Edition

Title: Battle of Hanging Rock, 1780.

Setting: General Sumter ("Gamecock") mustered 900 North and South Carolina infantry and cavalry (mostly militia in 3 or 4 detachments) to launch a surprise attack on Major Carden's 450 Loyalist Provincials and Colonel Bryan's 300 North Carolina Highland militia strung out in 4 camps near Hanging Rock, SC. A small Royal Artillery detachment with a 3 lb. field gun is the only British unit. A single troop of Tarleton's Dragoons is also in the area. It historically was a hard fought battle.    LINK
